This while, high-income countries dispose of around $430 billion worth of medical equipment annually, making healthcare responsible for 4% of global CO2 emissions. With Layco Medical Devices, Thom is developing reusable medical devices to reduce the CO2 footprint of the healthcare sector while simultaneously enhancing global access to healthcare.
