We'll update this list of FAQ's as we lead up to the event. If you don't find the answer to your question below, please contact our team or reach us on social media to help direct your question.


1. How much do tickets cost?  

A Regular Ticket costs €150, our Friends Package costs €750. Both prices exclude 6% VAT.


2. Will you reveal the program before ticket sales start?

We will not reveal the program before ticket sales start. Instead we'll be revealing our speaker line up gradually across media and social as we lead up to the event. Your ticket covers the full-day program, including talks, performances, activation space activities, catering and so on.


3. Who are the speakers for TEDxAmsterdam 2018?

We'll be revealing our speaker line up gradually across media and social as we lead up to the event. We're excited to share who will take to the stage for #thebigx ! Stay tuned across our social channels for announcements.


4. What is the difference between the Friends Package and the Regular Ticket?

Our Regular Ticket gets you access to the whole event: speakers, performers, TEDxAmsterdam experiences, food, drinks and networking with fellow attendees during breaks. The recipe for an outstanding day!

Our Friends Package is for one person, and it really takes the TEDxAmsterdam experience to the next level. It is for those who want to get better acquainted with TEDxAmsterdam, enhance their network and become part of our inner circle. It is also a great option for companies who want to connect with TEDxAmsterdam – whether it's to simply support the TEDx cause, to get to know us better, or to explore which future partner opportunities might be interesting for you.

5. Can I buy more than one ticket at a time?

It is not possible to buy more than one ticket at a time. We only sell to individuals, to give as many of you as possible the opportunity to obtain a ticket.



6. Where can I find a program for the day?

Once the full program has been revealed, we will share it with those attending the event. For now, stay tuned on social and other media outlets for regular updates, leading up to the event.
 The full program (prior to the main event, and including post-event drinks) goes from 8.00–20.00. 


7. I have a ticket, but I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

We do not offer refunds. However, in the unfortunate event that you are no longer able to attend the event, we will gladly connect you to someone on our waiting list of people who would love to join but missed out on a ticket, so that you can transfer your ticket to them. Note: each e-ticket is personal and will be used to print your name badge on the day of the event. In the case of a ticket transfer to someone else, we need to change your name to the new person’s name in our administration, so that they receive a badge with their own name on the day of the event. Please send an email to tickets@tedxamsterdam.nl if you need to make use of this offer.

8. Do I need to bring my ticket to the event?

Yes.  It is your proof of registration and validates your entry to the venue. Also, it needs to be scanned to print your name badge on the day of the event.



9. Can I buy a ticket for half a day, or just certain speakers?  

No. TEDxAmsterdam is an all-day event.



10. Is the venue accessible for less-able visitors?

Our venue, International Theatre Amsterdam (formerly Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam) has good facilities for less-able visitors and to assist the hearing-impaired. Learn more here. If you are joining us on the day, please let us know what assistance you require so that we can inform the venue.
