Best of 2014

Official aftermovie TEDx Amsterdam 2014

For the sixth edition of TEDxAmsterdam we moved back to the Stadsschouwburg. Jim Stolze hosted the event, which took place on 28 November 2014.

The theme of the event was "Somewhere in Time", celebrating that no matter who you are, what you do, where you’re from or what language you speak, we all have one thing in common – the time we share.

The winner of the 2014 TEDxAmsterdam Award was Candy Becomes Plastic.

Besides a livestream from the event location, people were able to join the free, public Beyond the Walls Program. Scientists and entrepreneurs talked about their work, their search to find answers for the unknown at locations such as VondelCS, the former Film Museum, in cooperation with Amsterdam Science Park and the University of Amsterdam.
